Surgery Interest Group

The purpose of the Surgery Interest Group is to facilitate interest in the medical specialty of surgery and its affiliated subspecialties. The organization provide surgery related opportunities in order to accomplish this goal including presentations and workshops. The organization establishes contacts and networking for students. The ultimate purpose of the Surgery Interest Group at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at FAU is to allow medical students to find which surgical specialties are most suitable to them individually and prepare them for residency programs in those specialties.
