Advisor Best Practices To support your RSO effectively, we recommend:  

- Meeting regularly with student leaders 

- Guiding them through university policies and processes 

- Attending major events when possible & the RSO events

- Encouraging leadership development and accountability 

- Being familiar with RSO policies on Owl Central, with the RSO Manual

- Communicating openly, respectfully, and timely 

- Referring students to appropriate campus resources as needed.
